Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a gorgeous all-inclusive resort where all wedding events will take place. All wedding festivities will be on Friday, June 6th, 2025, starting with the ceremony at 5:30pm. We encourage you to stay longer than the 3-night minimum and make a vacation out of the experience!
We understand the rate may not be feasible for everyone and some may look for alternative booking options. Please note, those who choose an alternative booking option may have additional costs to access Hyatt Ziva Cancun for the wedding. Please let us know if you go this route.
Another note, if you are looking at booking options and researching, be careful not to mistake Hyatt Ziva Cancun for Hyatt Ziva Riviera. It is an easy mistake to make.
HOW DO I BOOK?
We have a travel agent assisting us with all the booking. She has secured a discounted room block for the week of our wedding. Please click on our Room Block - Resort Booking Information tab for all the details!
DO I HAVE TO STAY AT THE RESORT WHERE THE WEDDING IS LOCATED?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort, the beautiful Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Our dream is to have our wedding celebration be a vacation experience for everyone. We're looking forward to spending quality time with you! At the pool, sharing a few drinks & meals and making memories together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our special reservation link. (see our Room Block - Resort Booking Information tab)
***For guests that are not staying on the resort, please note the following: (i) you will need to present an ID upon arrival at the hotel, (ii) an access fee of $170 will be required, (iii) Wedding Day Passes are effective thirty (30) minutes before the wedding ceremony scheduled time and are valid until the end of the wedding reception (up to five (5) hours from the wedding ceremony scheduled time).
Wedding attendees using a Wedding Day Pass are welcome to use any bar in the Hotel during their time at the Hotel (restaurants are excluded).
Alternatively, for an additional fee, you may purchase a day-pass if you would like access to the resort for the entire day, beginning at 9:00 AM).
CAN I STAY LONGER THAN THE 3-NIGHT MINIMUM?
Yes! We encourage everyone to stay longer and make a vacation out of the experience.
WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
You're traveling all this way, so you might as well make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible! Our room block is available from June 4th through June 10th. The Wedding Day is on June 6th. We recommend that you arrive at least 1 day before the Wedding Day, but please come and stay as long as you'd like! The bride and groom will be staying Wednesday June 4th - Sunday June 8th.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK FLIGHTS?
The ideal time is 2-8 months out. We recommend using google flights to compare and get the best rates. Dawn is happy to help with flights as well and you can choose that option when filling out your booking request with her.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Of course! Our kids will obviously be there and we can’t wait to see yours! Hyatt Ziva is a family friendly resort and children are absolutely welcome.
DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO ATTEND?
Since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process. We suggest applying a minimum of 6 months in advance as a precaution.
DO THE RESTAURANTS AT THE RESORT HAVE A DRESS CODE?
Yes, the dress code at restaurants falls into 2 categories:
Smart Casual - Dress shorts, dress sandals or close-toed shoes are required for men. No sleeveless shirts are permitted for men. Women require dress sandals.
Dry Casual - Access with dry bathing suits permitted. Men require a t-shirt and women required a cover up. Sandals are required.
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND!?
We completely understand! Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty, as you must make the best decision for your family, prior obligations, and your budget. You will be met with total understanding and love from both of us. Please let us know individually or through RSVP.
